What new vehicle could one have bought back in 1978 that was affordable, weighed 1700 pounds with four seats ,FWD, 30MPG HWY,and lightening quick responses-and at the same time could be serviced in any small town by one of the major 3 manufacturers? i think it is close in price to what i paid new for my base model back then.
